ALKU Faculty of Dentistry has started accepting patients. ALKU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Pınarbaşı visited the Faculty of Dentistry. During the visit, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Gülsün Yıldırım, Associate Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Akın and Dr. Lecturer Hatice Nalan Bozoğluları, as well as academic and administrative staff were present. Rector Pınarbaşı, who saw the work on site, received information from Dean Yıldırım about the services of the faculty.
Pınarbaşı said, “After the first-year students of our Faculty of Dentistry started their education, we are delighted to make our Faculty of Dentistry polyclinics ready to accept patients in a short time, which will provide services on oral and dental health to Alanya. Our young, dynamic, experienced, and expert faculty members will serve Alanya.”

Dean Yıldırım stated that the Faculty of Dentistry has started accepting patients and said, “Our faculty, which admitted its first students in the 2018-2019 academic year, also started accepting patients in the last term of 2018. In the Faculty of Dentistry, which will serve in Konaklı, in the former municipality building, a total of 11 physicians, including one professor, one associate professor, eight doctor instructors, and one research assistant, will continue their treatments with the most advanced technology and expert faculty members in oral and dental health, which the people of Alanya need.
In the faculty equipped with all kinds of advanced technical equipment in dentistry and modern devices, in addition to advanced surgical procedures, implant surgery, impacted tooth extractions, treatment of jaw cysts and tumors, pediatric dentistry, orthodontic treatments, restorative procedures such as fillings, root canal treatments, prosthetic production, and treatment of gum diseases are also performed. Advanced diagnoses are also made thanks to the imaging devices in the faculty equipped with advanced technology. There is no need to make an appointment for an examination, and after the diagnosis is made, appointments will be made from the relevant departments to carry out the treatments of the patients.
